fans will have to wait atleast 5 more weeks to see to see their teams newly acquired franchise center. Complications continue to arise in Bynum's right knee. This is now the third time since September that the Sixers have pushed back Bynum's return date.
After seeing a knee specialist and having an MRI done last week, the Sixers hope he will be cleared for all basketball
activities by December 10th. After December 10th, Bynum will still need some time to get in basketball
shape and gel with him teammates in practice so his Sixers debut is still up in the air.
"We know the Sixers fans are eager to see Andrew Bynum
play and shine," Sixers general manager Tony DiLeo
said in a statement. "We also know no one is more eager to see Andrew play for the Sixers than Andrew himself. He fully realizes the key contribution he can make to the team. Hopefully, that day is coming soon." A detailed statement about the Bynum situation has been released on the Sixers official website.
